Laughing so hard I almost went into labour

Now, I have always been a bit partial to watching a comedian whether that is live or on television. A good laugh is always great at the end of a hard day at work. It certainly makes me glad that I contacted TV Aerial Installation Swansea company https://www.onevisionltd.co.uk/tv-aerial-installation-swansea to come and fit my new aerial a few years back.

One evening, whilst heavily pregnant and finding nothing to watch on the television I stumbled across a comedy show of Lee Evans. He has always been one of my favourite comedians and never fails to have me laughing. Now ordinarily that wouldn’t be a problem but being over eight months pregnant it was a bit of a gamble, but it was one I was willing to take. So massive bottle of orange juice in hand (a craving I had had from early on and it only seemed to get worse) I set about watching the show.

Everything was going just fine until Lee recounted his views on pregnant women having their stomachs rubbed by complete strangers as people seem to think your bump is public property. He goes on to state that no one congratulates a man for his part in the process and he gesticulates to a non-PG area of the body. This had me roaring with laughter, laughing so hard in fact that my unborn child started to wriggle around and push their foot out of my stomach like something akin to alien, in their complete and utter displeasure at my jiggling them around with my laughter.

Now as any woman who has been pregnant will know by the time you are eight months pregnant there is not much room for anything else other than your baby in your every expanding stomach and I had drunk gallons and gallons of orange juice. So, cue a mad dash to the bathroom and a stay in there that seemed to last an eternity. Still at least it seemed to calm baby down for a while!

So, the moral of the story for me that night was never watch your favourite comedian whilst heavily pregnant and with a stomach full of orange juice because it was just one slightly delayed movement up off the sofa off a giant accident happening on my living room carpet.

Still one positive is now my child is two years old and they hate nothing more than orange juice!

How to prepare and apply a mask with activated charcoal

Before using the activated charcoal cleansing mask, it is necessary to familiarize yourself with some recommendations that will help prepare the face skin for the cleaning procedure, and accordingly, and use the positive mask action for 100%.

Preparing the skin before applying masks

  • Strain the skin before the procedure. The best thing for this purpose is a steam bath that will help to expand the pores, which will contribute to a better cleansing.
  • Refuse the scrubs. Cosmetologists do not recommend peeling before the procedure for cleaning pores, as this can negatively affect the health of the skin.
  • Take the test for an allergic reaction. To avoid the negative consequences of the procedure, it is recommended to take an allergy test. To do this, apply a little-finished product on your wrist and wash it off in 10-15 minutes. If the place of application turns red or the itching starts, then it is worth not using the mask.
  • Strict adherence to the instructions for use. Strictly observe the application rules and the holding time, as their violation can lead to severe consequences, up to a thermal burn.
  • It is correct to wash off the mask. In order to remove the mask from the skin, it is necessary to use a special aqueous lemon solution (in 0.5 liters of water, add the freshly squeezed juice of one lemon).
  • Use of such masks on an ongoing basis. It is important not only to clean the pores of various contaminants but also to keep them “clean”. To do this, you should regularly use charcoal for skin cleansing masks (1 time in 7-10 days, if the skin is prone to fat, then once in 5-7 days).
  • Do not use any cosmetics after the procedure. After cleaning the pores, you should stop using different facial cosmetics for a period of 24 hours. Here the important thing is that the pores should “breathe” for a certain time.

How to apply the activated charcoal mask

So, grind the activated charcoal into powder, mix it with dry gelatin and add the required amount of milk. Without waiting until the gelatin swells, and the coal is completely dissolved, place the ceramic bowl with a mask on the water bath. Preheat the mixture, stirring constantly, until the pellets of gelatin are completely dissolved.

You can make it easier to prepare this mask. Replace the steam bath with a microwave oven. Place the container with the mixture for 15 seconds in the microwave, and the face cleansing mask will be ready.

Wait for the mixture to cool down a bit, then apply it with a brush to the problem areas of the facial skin. Within 10-15 minutes, this cleansing mask with charcoal completely dries up, turning into an elastic film. It is very easy to remove it – just pull it gently in the right direction. And along with the mask, you “remove” and all the black unpleasant dirt, which until this moment clogged the pores. Keep reading http://www.beautyresonancetherapy.com/carbon-masks-benefits-skin/

That’s all, the fight with blackheads on the face successfully passed the first stage.

Make a mask with activated charcoal is recommended twice a week until the disappearance of the rash on the face.

As for contraindications, such cosmetic procedures are not advised to be carried out to people with pronounced coupe rosé.

How to Choose the Right TV Aerial

The problem with choosing a new TV aerial is that unless you have a good knowledge of how strong the TV signals are in your area, it’s difficult to know whether you need a high-powered TV aerial or not.

Local areas can have features that affect TV reception, such as hills or tall buildings. For example, in Bath TV aerial installation advice will depend on where in the city you are located. So it’s a classic case of using a firm that has strong local knowledge and can recommend the best type of aerial for your location.

Some people recommend what’s called a “wideband” TV aerial, which has differently spaced antennae. They’re called wideband because they can receive a wider range of signals than the ordinary aerials, which are called “grouped” aerials. A wideband aerial may be overkill for many households, who will get perfectly good reception with an ordinary aerial.

The BBC has a useful reception search tool – http://www.bbc.co.uk/receptionsearch.

Mobile Auctions Alter Frequencies

Your installer has to be aware of where 4G phone masts may have lately started transmitting, as these too can affect TV reception. And every time the next generation of mobile phones is launched, certain frequencies are auctioned off to carry the mobile phone signals. This often affects the TV reception in an area. So your installer has to be aware of future developments that may affect TV in your area. They also have to understand where the transmitters are, what type and strength of signal they are putting out, and what direction it is coming from.

A competent installer can also run a signal test if necessary to see where the strongest signal is. They’ll have detailed information and expert advice about the best aerial type, given the local transmitters. Contact http://steveunettaerials.co.uk/services/tv-aerials-repair-installation-bath/ for more information.

The Closest Transmitter May Not Be the Best

Some transmitters, for example, don’t transmit all the Freeview channels – they have a cut-down version which only includes about half the channels available.

Your installer may advise tuning to a transmitter that is farther away or has a weaker signal but has the full range of Freeview programmes. The installer will then advise on how to get round the problem of a weaker signal, possibly through the use of a wideband aerial.

Is Drupal Easy to Use?

It may not be the best-known CMS platform, but Drupal is a popular choice for web developers and designers because it is so customisable, and best of all, it’s completely free to install and use. Like WordPress it’s backed by a huge online community of fans, who all contribute to the open-source development, which also provides excellent levels of support through its community forums.

According to an infographic created by Entrepreneur, Drupal is the oldest of the open-source CMS platforms, having been created as long ago as 2001, with both WordPress and Joomla coming into being around two years later. With 2,000 free themes and more than 26,000 available plug-ins, Drupal is a serious contender for creating beautiful bespoke blogs and websites. As the power behind top brands, including Tesla, eBay and Twitter, it’s certainly a force to be reckoned with.

More Complicated Than WordPress?

One of the main objections that people put forward for steering clear of Drupal is the supposed complexity of the platform. Many users complain that it’s difficult to understand and engage with, but in the most part that’s probably because they’ve been spoilt by the easy accessibility of WordPress.

However, the platform’s endless adaptability and plethora of helpful and useful plug-ins make it superior to WordPress when creating beautiful and functional websites that can grow with your business. Admittedly, it’s a difficult platform to master for anyone with very limited knowledge of programming or web development, but professional web designers who constantly work with Drupal consider it the most adaptable and useful tool in their arsenal.

It’s important to use a dedicated Drupal design agency, as only then can you be sure that the team members understand every aspect of the software, which is of prime importance when building a multi-page website. Make sure you select a Drupal Design Agency with a proven track record and that places an emphasis on user experience.

Superior Flexibility and Functionality

Designed by developers for use by developers, Drupal provides elements of website design and maintenance that are unrivalled by any other platform, and it is this functionality which perhaps makes it difficult for beginners to master. But it’s easy enough to learn how to use the CMS once your site has been set up, and professional assistance is only ever a phone call away.

Rental property demand remains strong

In June 2018, referencing firm HomeLet said that Wales was alone among the regions in seeing rents decline annually, amid a background of rental growth remaining below the rate of inflation.

Regional growth in the rental sector

Figures quoted by the firm demonstrate that rents were raised by 1.8% annually to an average of £924 per month, under the current inflation rate of 2.4%.

While growth plateaued in the south-east, Wales alone saw a yearly fall to £603 a month (down 0.8%).

The highest year-on-year rise was found in Northern Ireland, up 5.1% to £641 monthly.

Rents on a monthly basis were raised by 0.5%, growing in 10 regions out of 12, with a 4.1% increase to £689 notable in the West Midlands.

Rents in Wales fell on a monthly basis to £603 by 0.2%, while the north-east experienced a drop of 0.8% to £529.

The chief executive of Homelet, Martin Totty, commented that he believed there will be many factors to bear in mind in the private rented sector over the next quarter. This includes both supply and demand for properties having an impact on average rents.

Government taxation changes squeezing private landlords have yet to be announced, he pointed out, and more regulation is in the pipeline that may also discourage private landlords from taking part in this important sector and start to reduce supply.

He said that a squeeze on the number of rental properties available will not be beneficial for tenants if it results in rents increasing. However, demand for properties to rent remains high, and in the near term, it is likely to be positive for property owners.

Totty mentioned that while some landlords may decide to sell up, many others view the situation as a chance to improve their yields. Demand still outstrips supply, a fact that many participants in the several government consultations have broadcast.

The benefits of property inventory software

Property inventory software can help landlords to manage their portfolios more efficiently with an eye on profits. It streamlines property management administration with IT solutions.

You may be able to schedule visits and client bookings, and completing inventory reports and right to rent documents becomes simple.

You could investigate https://inventorybase.co.uk/.

Software can be found both online and as an app, putting useful features at your fingertips.

How to make a snow-white smile without visiting clinics

Doctors recommended a simple and cheap method that does not harm health. Recent research has shown that there is a simple and reliable way to whiten your teeth at home, for this use regular activated charcoal. The advantage of this method is that it is cheap and does not cause painful or unpleasant sensations, and it can be called the safest method of teeth whitening at home.

In order to create a whitening agent, you need to knead two tablets in a glass or ceramic bowl, then add a few drops of clean water to the resulting substance to make the texture look like toothpaste. All this carefully mix and use as a normal toothpaste – apply to the brush and brush your teeth.

Then you should rinse your mouth well. You can do it and it’s easier – just chew the coal tablets, however, this can cause unpleasant sensations, and the effectiveness of this method will be slightly lower.

Bleaching at home should be done no more than once a week, because, otherwise, it is possible to have a negative effect on the enamel of the teeth, which can become an order of magnitude more sensitive.

There are several prescriptions for teeth whitening with activated charcoal. In each case, 1-2 tablets are required. But we also recommend you to read the charcoal teeth whitener reviews

  • Pound the activated charcoal tablets into powder and mix them with a little water. The volume of it should be minimal for obtaining thick gruel. It is convenient to pour water by drop, from the pipette, mixing the mixture well. Brush your teeth with a toothbrush. To do this, you can use a soft toothbrush or finger pads to reduce the effect of abrasive. After massaging the surface of the teeth for 2 minutes, rinse your mouth.
  • Express method of teeth whitening with activated charcoal. Reviews indicate its effectiveness, although insufficient thoroughness of cleaning the enamel. Take a pair of black tablets and carefully open the mouth. Then put water in your mouth, rinse for a minute, spit it out.
  • “Activated charcoal” toothpaste. Crushed 1 tablet of activated charcoal, add a little powder directly to the toothpaste on the brush. Brush your teeth as usual.

Absolute contraindications to the use of coal as a bleaching agent are individual intolerance and allergy to the components of the drug. It is not recommended to use this method during pregnancy and lactation. Do not bleach your teeth with coal at home, if your enamel is damaged. Six tips for vendor management success

No matter what size your business is, managing vendor relationships is key to its success, allowing you to build positive relationships with suppliers and get the right price for the goods and services you buy.

1. Cost vs. quality

The right price is not always the lowest price. It’s the one that provides you with value for money in return for a high-quality product – something your customers are likely to prefer. Ask vendors to provide detailed information on their products so you can understand their worth, not just the cost.

2. Commitment

You’re more likely to get a good price from vendors if they feel that they’re building a long-term relationship with you that will benefit not only your business, but theirs as well. Let your vendors know that you are committed to working with them and won’t switch suppliers without talking to them first.

3. Win-win agreements

When you negotiate with vendors, make sure you know the outcomes they want to achieve, as well as your own goals. This way, you’ll find it easier to agree a deal that works for both of you. If you only look at it from your point of view and don’t give at all, the vendor may walk away from the deal, which won’t do you any good in the long-run.

4. Good practice

Once you’ve got agreements in place, it’s important you manage them, and your relationship with your vendor, well in order to ensure it runs smoothly. If you don’t already have one, start using a vendor management system such as https://www.contractswise.com/ to help you securely store contracts and track performance against them.

5. Share information

When you work closely with a vendor, you’ll get more out of the relationship if you let them know your business priorities and future plans. These don’t have to be detailed or break company confidentiality, but should be enough to allow vendors to identify ways that they can add value and help you achieve your goals.

6. Understand your vendors

Getting to know your vendors is a good way to build long-term relationships that benefit both organisations. Find out about their business plans, what they want to achieve and growth plans – they might be introducing a new product line, for example, that you’d be interested in buying.

Analysis of advanced prostate tumour DNA could identify suitability for immunotherapy

A distinct genetic pattern has been discovered that could determine whether men with advanced prostate cancer could benefit from immunotherapy. The research results could be a significant breakthrough in treating the most serious forms of the disease.

What is immunotherapy?

The idea behind immunotherapy is to harness the body’s own immune system to fight cancer. It does this by ‘alerting’ the immune system to the presence of abnormal cancer cells, so they can be destroyed. Our bodies do not recognise cancer cells as foreign, because they are generated by healthy cells.

However, while it can be highly effective, researchers have struggled to find an effective way to use immunotherapy to treat prostate cancer.

What did the study find?

Researchers at London’s Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) and the University of Michigan analysed the DNA of the tumours of 360 men. In 7% of these tumours, copies of the CDK12 gene were not present. This indicated the tumour had an increased number of immune cells than other types of advanced prostate cancer and could therefore respond to immunotherapy.

What are the next steps?

Researchers now hope to expand their study, with the aim of developing a genetic test that could be conducted prior to treating a patient with immunotherapy drugs, to determine whether they could be effective.

The findings of the study come at a time of exciting developments in the field of immunotherapy. For example, a recent clinical trial conducted by ICR and the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust found that a new immunotherapy drug can extend the life of men with no other treatment options.

Discoveries such as these highlight the importance of voluntary and paid research studies to making life-saving breakthroughs. Indeed, Regius Professor of Cancer Research at ICR, Professor Johann de Bono, has been reported as calling for “larger clinical studies” to look at immunotherapy.

Healthy volunteers are used in clinical trials, such as the Paid Research Studies by Trials4us, as part of the lengthy process of getting new drugs to market. Patients can also ask their clinical team about any trials for which they may be suitable.

It is clear that immunotherapy is a real ‘game-changer’ for treating certain cancers and other diseases. However, when it comes to exploiting its potential, doctors and researchers are just scratching the surface.
